Sadly, the proposed Ruthin Medieval Festival became a victim of its own success, and outgrew the space that was available for it at the Ruthin Castle Hotel. Luckily, we were able to transfer the event to the Bodelwyddan Castle Park, where we also stage the August Bodelwyddan Medieval Festival (August 9th & 10th 2008) (We cannot however risk “over-kill” at Bodelwyddan by staging 3 Medieval Festivals per year there, and are still looking for a new venue for a late September 2009 Festival, having run out of time to do this in 2008.) These shows will be donating 10% of their profits to local charities. For 2008 we have chosen the Hope House Children’s Hospice as our beneficiary.
